Single Trips Region 1 The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Scilly Isles, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. Region 2 The continent of Europe west of the Ural Mountains, all countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, as well as Madeira and the Azores, but EXCLUDING those countries mentioned in Region 3. Region 3 Means Spain, The Canaries, Turkey, Cyprus, Malta and Switzerland. Region 4 Means anywhere in the world except USA, Canada, Caribbean, South Africa, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore. Close this help window Exclude Baggage Cover Many household policies offer cover for your property whilst on holiday, therefore you may wish to reduce your premium by removing baggage cover. However please check your household policy first. Close this help window Additional Cancellation Cover Increase the standard cover (£1000) under the Cancellation and Curtailment Section up to £5000. Please note, if no pre-existing medical conditions are declared, the standard cancellation cover is increased to £5000 per traveller automatically. Close this help window Travelling Companion Cancellation Cover To cover your travelling companions for cancellation or curtailment due to your pre-exisiting medical condition Close this help window Golf Cover The golf cover extension covers you up to £750 for golf equipment that is lost, stolen or damaged during your trip, limited to £250 for any one item. It covers up to £250 per item up to £750 in all. Hire of golf equipment up to £375 (£75 per day) is covered if your own is lost, stolen or damaged. Irrecoverable green fees paid before you travel are also re-imbursed if you cannot play due to ill health during the trip. Close this help window Commencement Dates The Commencement Date is the date from which your cancellation cover will start. For pre-existing medical conditions cancellation cover cannot start more than 3 months before your Departure Date. Close this help window Cover Dates Cancellation cover for pre-existing medical conditions starts three months before your journey starts. However, for "new" medical problems, i.e. those which are not related to the pre-existing ones, cover starts the day your policy is issued. Cover for all other sections starts at the beginning of your journey. (But it will not be longer than the period for which the premium has been paid).
