Region 2 The continent of Europe west of the Ural Mountains, all countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, as well as Madeira and the Azores, but EXCLUDING those countries mentioned in Region 3. Please note, if no pre-existing medical conditions are declared, the standard cancellation cover is increased to £5000 per traveller automatically. It covers up to £250 per item up to £750 in all. Hire of golf equipment up to £375 (£75 per day) is covered if your own is lost, stolen or damaged. Irrecoverable green fees paid before you travel are also re-imbursed if you cannot play due to ill health during the trip. For pre-existing medical conditions cancellation cover cannot start more than 3 months before your Departure Date. However, for "new" medical problems, i.e. those which are not related to the pre-existing ones, cover starts the day your policy is issued. Cover for all other sections starts at the beginning of your journey. (But it will not be longer than the period for which the premium has been paid).
